Care Path

A clearer plan for shockwave chiropractic care

Shockwave care should not be treated like a one-size-fits-all service. We start with an evaluation, explain whether it is appropriate, and build a plan around your condition.

01

Assess the concern

We review where the pain or limitation is, how it began, what movements make it worse, and whether there are injury-related factors.

02

Decide if it fits

If shockwave support is appropriate, we explain how it may fit into your chiropractic care plan. If it is not the right step, we guide you toward a better option.

03

Plan follow-up care

Your plan may include chiropractic care, movement guidance, soft-tissue support, or referral guidance depending on your findings.

Shockwave Chiropractic in Beaverton and Hillsboro, Oregon

Shockwave chiropractic care is a focused therapy option that may be used to support soft-tissue recovery and comfort when the evaluation shows it is appropriate. It is often discussed for muscle, tendon, ligament, and joint-related concerns where local tissue irritation or limited movement may be part of the problem.

At Integrity Chiropractic Clinic, we keep the process simple: we evaluate first, explain what we find, and recommend care only when it makes sense for your symptoms and goals.

When shockwave support may be considered

  • Ongoing muscle tightness or soft-tissue irritation that has not settled with basic home care.
  • Tendon or ligament-related discomfort where focused support may be appropriate after evaluation.
  • Recovery support for active patients, work-related strain, or repetitive-use stress.
  • Shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, foot, or back-related concerns where the soft tissue appears involved.

Shockwave care is not automatically the right choice for every patient. Some cases need chiropractic care, imaging guidance, medical evaluation, or a different treatment plan.

What to expect during your visit

Your appointment starts with your history and symptoms. We look at what happened, how long the issue has been present, what activities are limited, and whether the pain is connected to an auto accident, work injury, posture, sports, or daily movement.

If shockwave care is appropriate, we explain the goal of treatment, where it will be applied, and how it fits with the rest of your care plan. You will also get practical guidance about activity, follow-up, and when to contact the clinic.
